Other ways to help We rely on financial or in-kind donations to support our projects and the organisation as a whole. Be a Patron Patrons are institutions or individuals committed to providing significant and long-term financial support to the organisation in order that it can meet its key objectives.  Do you want to contribute? Be a Donor Donors contribute to the running of the organisation and its projects through financial or in-kind donations. Donations are not project-specific but contribute to the overall sustainability of the organisation.  Do you want to contribute? Be a Sponsor Sponsors contribute to a specific project by financial or in-kind donations. These donations support our volunteer designers and staff in their efforts to develop a design solution to a specific need.  Do you want to contribute? Apart from giving financial support, you can contact us to help in other ways: • Tell us about a need or situation where you believe that design could help • Stay informed! Send us an e-mail and we will add you to our mailing list • Share contacts that may be of interest to us and suggest ways that we can make our organisation better known • Suggest ways to improve our website You might also like to Send our Web site address to a friend or contact –or ask them to send us an e-mail and we will add them to our mailing list. If you talk about Design for the World with colleagues, friends and people who may be interested in supporting us, you will be contributing to a worthy cause.
